Dexter : Season Three

The season three of Dexter starts off like any other episode with a close-up look of Dexter preparing his breakfast and getting ready for the day. With Rolfe Kent's creepy musical composition playing in the background. The show starts off with a six minute recap of the previous season. 20 minutes into the episode, I became really afraid that it was going to be a filler for a season premiere. but with Dexter, messing up his first kill of the season, and accidentally killing the wrong person. It quickly becomes an episode of Dexter scrambling to cover up his own mistake.

Throughout the episodes I watched Dexter try to cover up his accidental murder. I fear that the season would've been ended up being about Dexter lingering around, the investigation of his own crime, trying to cover it up. But with it quickly resolved at the end of the episode you see that the season takes a much more different turn. With Rita telling Dexter at the end of the episode that she could be pregnant.

After watching this episode, I started to think whether or not Dexter would raise his children in a more traditional fashion or the way his stepfather Harry raised them? Will Dexter pass the code of Harry to his children? if Dexter does become a father does not mean that you have to share all his secrets with Rita. I can imagine with a baby on the way he would be more hard-pressed for time and would be unable to sneak out in the dead of night to do his business. Will Dexter to put his killing hubby on hold during this pregnancy or will use more lies to cover up what he's doing. I'm guessing season three of Dexter is going to be about answering this key questions.

Fringe

I just finished watching the third episode of the new Fox show Fringe. After watching the two-hour pilot on September 9 I was uncertain about the shows destiny. For the first 10 minutes of the show. It comes off as a strong X-Files ripoff. With two romantically involved FBI agents investigating a biological attack on an airline flight. The show quickly turns around and becomes a story of a headstrong female FBI agent trying to save her fellow FBI agent form same biological attack they are investigating. After a series of lucky breaks and help from some crackpot scientist who has been institutionalized for 17 years she is able to save her fellow agent only in time to find out that he is involved in the catastrophe aboard the airliner. to tell you that you after watching the pilot. I really felt that it would make the perfect TV movie. I was extremely spectacle to believe that this could successful hold a Tuesday nine o'clock time slot on Fox.

It's rare being able to come to a show knowing I'll see an actor like Joshua Jaskson who I never admired and disliked in most of the roles(especially Dawson's Creek) that he was placed in and really see him succeed in the role of a detached and disappointed son to a to unstable recently released from psychiatric care father who needs his help. It's a pleasant surprise to see Joshua Jaskson finally, in a role that doesn't have him jumping for teenage girls.

But after watching the second and third episodes of the show. I'm convinced that the show could be a long-term success for Fox. I believe that this show is a perfect contender for ABC's Lost with its deep characters, and lots of room for conspiracy theories. I believe that Fringe can give Lost a run for its money.

the start....

I started this blog because I was tired. Tired of seeing so many other review sites, wasting everyone's time with, biased reviews disinformation and links to competitors products, so I decide to start reviewing products myself. Basically from now on whenever I buy something I'm going to do an in depth review of it. I will have detailed pictures and maybe even some videos of me using the products. I will also review upcoming TV shows and movies. If the product reviews get to light.
I'm pretty much going to review anything that can be seen as a piece of media entertainment or clever product. And then finally, I'll start taking requests. So you can request me to review something before you have to make an expensive purchase or waste your time watching a particular TV show or movie. I'm hoping that in the end people can trust my reviews and look for me to for advice on the products they buy.
